Head of Product Design

About this position

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Product Design to join our team and help shape the future of our platform. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the product design team, overseeing the entire design process, and ensuring that our platform remains at the forefront of user experience and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic product design vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define product requirements and develop innovative solutions
• Oversee the entire design process, from concept to final implementation, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices and platforms
• Establish and maintain design standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across our platform
• Monitor and analyze user feedback and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the user experience
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our platform remains competitive and relevant in the market

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on digital products and services
• Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing design teams
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user experience design, user interface design, and visual design for web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into user-friendly designs
• Passion for data-driven decision making and experience designing data-centric products is a plus
